Egyptian archaeology, also commonly known as “Egyptology,” radiates glamour and magnetism and drives the curiosity of the academic reader while emitting the magnificence of one of the most ancient and distinguished civilizations, which will continue to constitute a field of study and research for many generations to come. The “Topography of Ancient Egypt” makes an epitome of the most prominent monuments of Upper and Lower Egypt, dating back to the Nile-land’s Old Kingdom era up to the end of the Middle Ages. The inspiration for the creation of this book emanated from the splendid archaeological data accessible and available right in their country of origin on the northeastern district of the African continent, and it aims to inform and educate the reading audience of this subject, regardless of their gnostic background and specialization. This work’s interactive nature enables an unhindered and full understanding of the general and distinct features of the laid-out monuments in its content, as it encompasses the fundamental historical, archaeological, and architectural information regarding them. Furthermore, there’s a thorough description of each deity particularly involved
with the sites and of their individual attributes, as well as references to the burial practices, the religious and cosmogenic beliefs of the ancient Egyptians, the Egyptian mythology and distinctive cultural emblems.
